scotchpy (1.0.2-2) unstable; urgency=medium

  * add debian patches
    - test_stat_22.patch: test_stat in test_graph.py is not sure if
      the test value should be 22 or 44. 44 fails, so use 22.
    - build_intsize.patch adds SCOTCH_SONAME_SUFFIX to cmake
      configuration and find_libs.py to find the desired
      libscotch${SCOTCH_SONAME_SUFFIX}.so build. scotchpy does not
      currently select the numpy dtype, so uses the default np.int64
      on 64-bit systems, which conflicts with the default 32-bit C int
      used by default libscotch.so. Hence scotchpy only runs reliably
      with libscotch_64i.so (-DINTSIZE=64 -DIDXSIZE=64).
      The cmake variable may be configured but for simplicity the
      python variable is currently hard-coded to "_64i" on 64-bit
      systems. Depends: libscotch-64i-dev, libptscotch-64i-dev
      (on 64-bit systems)
  * skip testMesh2, which segfaults more often than not.
    See upstream issue #9.

scotchpy (1.0.1-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Initial release. (Closes: #1128989)
    - initially only supports the standard scotch build
      (32-bit integers, not 64-bit integers)
  * handle upstream configuration idiosyncracies in debian/rules
    - run ./configure before dh_auto_configure to generate
      pyproject.toml, and delete it after dh_clean
    - set env variable to default (multiarch) library path to find
      libscotch.so. Upstream uses find_library(scotch) rather than
      find_package(scotch).
  * add debian patches
    - use_system_scotch.patch configures scotchpy to use
      system installation of SCOTCH if env var SCOTCHPY_SCOTCH is not
      set (i.e. enable usage without specifying SCOTCHPY_SCOTCH)
    - find_libs.patch looks for scotch libraries in standard system
      library dir unless overridden by env var SCOTCHPY_SCOTCH
    - test_without_ptscotch.patch disables test_dgraph.py
      if libptscotch-dev is not installed
  * python3-scotchpy Depends: libscotch-dev, but
    Recommends: libptscotch-dev
